About Me

I come from the city of Surabaya, originally arrived in Singapore at the age of 14.  That means I have spent more than half of my life in Singapore.  But I'm still very much in love with my hometown where life goes in a slower pace and things are just not as bloody expensive as in Singapore. 

I picked up photography as a hobby when I was in university - oh yes, university was a time of fun.. lots of it... 

I'm now married and have 2 wonderful kids and a lovely wife.   

My signature "Sukamoto" is a portmanteau of "suka" and "moto".  "suka" is Indonesian for like while "moto" means to take photo.  So simply put, I like to take photos.   

I suppose this blog will record some of the wonderful times we had together along with my travelling experiences, or just for my sometimes non-sensical ramblings.
