W Singapore - Sentosa Cove Escape - Part II

Day 2 started with breakfast at The Kitchen Table.  It was an à la carte buffet, not very nice...  Part of the joy in going for a buffet spread is that you can choose whatever you want whenever you want, which unfortunately (although understandably) is not possible at the moment.  To avoid crowding, we had to book specific time slots, which for that day we could only get the last, starting from 10:00 - 11:30.  Apparently there was some drama, but we didn't notice anything when we were at the restaurant until we  read the news.

Anyway, after breakfast we went to Quayside Isle one more time to just have a good look at Sentosa Cove and take more photos for keepsake. It was a very nice walk; usually we could only see Sentosa Cove when we were on board a ferry to Batam, this time we really walked on Sentosa Cove.

W Singapore - Sentosa Cove Escape - Part I

Just last week, we had a short staycay escape at W Singapore - Sentosa Cove.  It was a short 3 days 2 nights stay.  I wish I could have stayed longer really, unfortunately there are just too many things that still need my attention at work.  Nevertheless, it was a very welcome break, much needed too for me.

June Adventure Cove Waterpark Trip

Well, June is not all gloomy and sorrowful.  There are 2 birthdays to celebrate after all this month.  My wife and I gave Lincoln an early birthday present by bringing him to Adventure Cove Waterpark in Sentosa as he'd been asking to go there for quite some time now.

Both Lincoln and Lindsay were definitely excited from the moment we arrived in Sentosa.  I, however, opted to remain dry as I was in no mood to get wet.  I only went along to take photos.

Jettisoned June

Yeah.. that's what I'm feeling right now.  Jettisoned.  June has been a month of many departures.  One of my colleagues whom I can usually let loose with in the office resigned abruptly.  After his resignation, two of his buddies from the same department also left...  I've known them for quite a while.  In fact they were some of the last few people in the office who knew me from the containership days.

I have to admit that I'm not taking their departures very well, as such I've been feeling rather down lately.  I can't help but feel like a relic that should have left eons ago.  Unfortunately, lady luck has not been so kind to me at the moment.

Underwater World Sentosa Visit - 2014

Let's break the monotony of Gardens by The Bay entries and have a little of variety, so I looked thru my photo library and I think I'll write on a visit to Underwater World in Sentosa at 2014 (http://www.underwaterworld.com.sg/) - Underwater World has since ceased operation from 27 June 2016.
