Day 3 - 春到大地. No rain this morning and I started the day with a prayer at Vihara Satya Dharma with my father and Lincoln. That was the first time Lincoln joined me and my father for new year's day prayers.

We left the hotel after 9 in the morning as my father was slightly delayed. His phone wouldn't stop ringing and buzzing so we had to wait for him to clear those messages and answer the calls. And when we arrived at Satya Dharma, the Vihara was crowded as expected with devotees, beggars and street thugs..... as usual....

We quickly went in to offer our prayers, hoping for a good start for 2020, and a plain sailing, prosperous year throughout. It was very smoky inside and Lincoln had quite a hard time there. Heck... even adults too actually... But I'm very proud of him that he completed the prayers in the end.

After Lincoln and I finished our prayers, we waited outside for my father. As soon as he was done we hopped back onto our car and returned to the hotel. After getting a quick shower to wash away our smoky aroma, we quickly made our way to Swissotel for 拜年 with my parents and siblings. Then, we made our way to 婆婆's house where my aunt, my cousins and their families have already been waiting for us since morning. We had a quick brunch there and another quick chit chat before everyone finally left as it was already well past noon. 婆婆 was quiet as usual, but we accompanied her till it was time for her to take a nap again.

And then we finally left for Emporium Pluit for a short coffee break in Djournal Coffee before finally going to Tsing Hua Relexology, which is more commonly known as "Nano" by the locals.

After a good 90 minute massage, we returned to Mercure to just relax before finally going for dinner at Putu Made.

Our dinner was excellent. Among the 4 of us we had Nasi Campur Babi Bali, Ayam Bakar, Balinese Gado Gado, Sate Ayam and Nasi Goreng. That was the best Balinese meal we've had. All of a sudden... I don't miss Cik Ing... 😛

After dinner we had a short walk in PIK Avenue before finally going back to Mercure. And while waiting for the lift, why not take some photos to entertain ourselves?
