Doraemon at the National Museum

On Deepavali weekend this month, we dropped by the "Doraemon's Time Travelling Adventures in Singapore" exhibition in the National Museum.

So Many Doraemons! - Galaxy Note 9

It was a very nice visit, the kids were looking forward to it.  But when we arrived, their mood somehow changed due to the hot and humid weather, despite the sky being cloudy.  And it seemed like I was the only one who was more interested in the exhibition than Lincoln & Lindsay.

As we were midway through the exhibition, the sky decided to drop the rain on us and so we had to make an escape into the National Museum.  Since we were sort of trapped, we decided to just have a go at the exhibitions in the museum as well.  The last time I went to the National Museum was in 2010, just a few months before Lincoln was born.  Geez... it really took us this long for a 2nd visit! 😜

After looking around, we decided to visit the Glass Rotunda first.  It is an amazing installation which is created by the Japanese digital art teamLab.  This installation focuses on the story of the forest, hence its name "Story of The Forest".

After we finished with that amazing exhibition, we went on to the Very Old Tree exhibition followed by the Singapore History Gallery.

Towards the end of the exhibition we came across a small display of Doraemon's gadgets again.

And... that's the end.  Here's a closing shot for this entry:
