Day 2 started with breakfast at The Kitchen Table. It was an à la carte buffet, not very nice... Part of the joy in going for a buffet spread is that you can choose whatever you want whenever you want, which unfortunately (although understandably) is not possible at the moment. To avoid crowding, we had to book specific time slots, which for that day we could only get the last, starting from 10:00 - 11:30. Apparently there was some drama, but we didn't notice anything when we were at the restaurant until we read the news.
Anyway, after breakfast we went to Quayside Isle one more time to just have a good look at Sentosa Cove and take more photos for keepsake. It was a very nice walk; usually we could only see Sentosa Cove when we were on board a ferry to Batam, this time we really walked on Sentosa Cove.

This time we didn't walk very far till One°15 Marina and stopped somewhere near Sabio by The Sea.

The Jalan-Jalan ended when the kids became hot and cranky. Despite the cloudy skies, the humidity made it quite stuffy and so the kids were sweaty, which they really didn't like. So we returned to the hotel, which not long after, the rain poured once again heavier than the day before.

That only made us want to just stay in the room longer while enjoying the cooling sight.
Fortunately the rain stopped just in time before 5 pm, which is the time slot we have booked for some splashing fun in the pool.

We stopped just before 7 and returned to the room. Since we just wanted a relaxing dinner, it was time for room service.

The food was really good. I really enjoyed the butter chicken and the pizza while Lindsay finished her mac and cheese pretty fast too. As soon as we finished dinner we just watched a bit more TV before finally calling it a night.
On the following day our breakfast time slot started from 8 am, so we woke up a bit earlier. We chose outdoor seating which was not very wise. There were 4 crows and 5 mynahs (if I remember correctly) which were watching us intently, awaiting for a chance to take a swipe at our food. It was a rather tense and uneasy breakfast. In any case, the delicious breakfast spread more than made up for that brief and tense moment with the tenacious scavengers.

Soon, we had to return to the room to pack up and check out. I can't help but yearn for this amazing view again, from our room.
