Just last Sunday on 27th September was the Mid-Autumn festival. Families would gather to have moon cake, tea and lit some fireworks. On Saturday which is 26th September, where else would we be if not at Gardens by The Bay looking at various lanterns and enjoying the festive atmosphere?

There were 300 lanterns on display, but of course I couldn't take photos of all since the place was swarming with people.
The lanterns were such a joy to look at, various shapes and sizes and beautifully crafted. The kids had a great time, running around and just having fun looking at the lanterns.

On Sunday which is the actual Mid-Autumn celebration itself, we all went down to the playground of our apartment to let the kids bring their lanterns and just mingle with other kids.
Here's a closing shot of Lincoln's lantern.
