As soon as we checked out from Ibis Budget, we left for my parents' house first. There, we waited for the driver who'll be bringing us over to Prigen.

We finally left my parents' house at 10 a.m. and went on an approximately 60 minute journey to Prigen.

Upon arrival at Baobab Safari Resort, we were immediately awed at the sight of giraffes, deer and wildebeests roaming the resort's ground, right next to the swimming pool.

Anyway, we checked in first and left our luggage at the concierge as we had arrived some 3 or 4 hours earlier than the official check-in time.

Once we settled the check-in, we left for Taman Safari Prigen which is just next door. Prior to entering the park, we purchased some carrots from roadside vendors to feed the animals with. The moment we entered the park, the kids were really excited when they entered the first area.

There we saw some llamas and many kinds of deer and antelopes. The moment our car stopped, we were immediately surrounded by hungry animals hoping to get some carrots.

There were lions, tigers, bears, hippos, camels and even elephants. It took us about an hour before we finally reached the end of the park where Lincoln fed some zebras before we bid the animals goodbye.

And finally, it was time to get down the car when were finally done inside the park. The immediate attraction in the vicinity would be an amusement park with a mini zoo inside.
First thing to do was get lunch as the kids were starving. So we set out for the food court. On arrival at the food court, we noticed that the spread was not too appetizing and severely overpriced. So we settled for plain bread and drinks.

After that short break, we went on to the mini zoo, which is more commonly known as "Baby Zoo". There were numerous interesting animal exhibits inside.

We also made time for a tiger show. It was quite a good show as we were treated to a 6 year old female tiger's various capabilities. Such as climbing up what looks like an 8-metre tall vertical pole...
The tiger named Shinta apparently loves milk too. I can't imagine how much courage is needed to be around a 6 year old tiger such as Shinta.

And so, it was time to return to Baobab after an afternoon of fun.

On return, the kids wanted to swim so we accompanied them to the pool. As it was nearing the giraffe feeding time, Linc & Lind went up to the feeding bay. It was such an amazing experience for both of them feeding the 3 giraffes.

After they were done feeding the giraffes, they decided to just bathe and went for early dinner. While waiting for them, I went to the meerkat enclosure to observe the cute critters.

As soon as they arrived, we immediately ordered our food at the restaurant and promptly finished dinner as the sun set.

The sunset in Baobab was simply wonderful.

As the light turned on while the sky turned dark blue, Baobab Resort's lobby lit up very nicely.

Even from the room, I could just step out to the balcony and the sight was really quite wonderful.
